Your health insurance only goes so far. MetLife's affordable accident plan can help your family cover these out-of-pocket expenses. With MetLife, there are more than 150 covered conditions associated with an accident that could trigger benefits, including various injuries, hospitalization, medical services and treatments. Enhancements include benefit payments for fractures, dislocations, X-rays, MRIs, therapy services, follow up doctor visits, medical appliances like crutches and much more. In addition, there is even an increased benefit payment for accidents that occur during an organized sport.

Accident coverage provides you with valuable benefits

• Accident Medical Expense: pays actual charges for physician’s treatment or other emergency treatment based on the schedule of benefits
• Pays benefits directly to you, in addition to any other coverage you may have
• Ambulance Benefit: pays actual charges, up to $750, for ground ambulance service and $1,250 emergency air transportation within 100-mile radius
• Hospital Confinement: pays a daily benefit of $300 for 15 days when the injury is a result of a covered accident. Plan pays an additional $300 each of those days for confinement in an ICU.

MetLife’s Group Accident product is intended to supplement, and is not a substitute for, comprehensive medical coverage. By enrolling for Accident Insurance, if I am a resident of Minnesota or Vermont, I declare all persons to be insured have medical coverage in force that provides benefits for medical treatment, including hospital, surgical and medical expenses. I acknowledge that I have received and read a copy of the outline of coverage or other disclosure document for the Group Accident plan. In addition, I have read the enrollment documentation and declare that all information I have given is true and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief; I have read the applicable Fraud Warning(s) provided.
